It's not just asian lol.

Think of Vikings. Big warrior men with long hair. Common theme with berserker type charas/vikings/old world warrior.

There's been characters like this all over western media. Dude is just being weird.

Oh wow how could I forget about the Witcher. Yeah Geralt has long hair too. It's all over the place in western fantasy media. It's just old world hairstyles. Dude's being weird.
