Unable to rebind important controls
If there's a way added in to change all controls, not just the ones i can reach that would be great.

My hands are disabled and I cant use my pinky finger so when i use kb and mouse I like to rebind things like ctrl and shift to less used buttons like e in this case but the game prevents it.

Can this please be added so i can play your game?

If they dont add full rebind options i highly recommend trying to play on a controller, in my experience it's much better

Right? Who even plays 3rd person games like this on kb+m?

Another alternative if they don't add full rebinds is to use AutoHotKey and swap/assign keys in a script.

I use keyboard and mouse because there are more buttons that I can change that work with my mangled hands. I cant use controller well because the left bumper and trigger aren't buttons I can press with any haste or accuracy in combat or action sections. I did elden ring with controller because I can ignore those attack buttons and still get by. Having left bumper being an integral button like block or parry and not being able to rebind them sucks.

I'll look into autohotkey. thank you!

You don't even need autohotkey, although that is a very useful tool, you can always use Steam Input to rebind whatever you want to whatever you want. The only drawback is with games that don't implement the API it will leave any in-game button prompts as the originals. But since this game is Deck Verified I suspect even that may not be an issue. Try it in the demo and see how it works out.

Good to know this.
If a developer in 2025 doesn't let you rebind keys in their game, they don't deserve your money.

Sure, I COULD use 3rd-party software but why should I inconvenience myself making and saving profiles to do the developer's job after spending a decent amount of money on their game? I'd rather take my money to a developer that respects their customer's time and financial support.

Game looks interesting but now I can't even be bothered to load the demo.
:shit:

The game also doesn't recognize additional mouse keys I have, and doesn't let me bind them (I have mapped them to Num keys and every damn game recognizes Num pad). Such a shame in 2025 -.- I'm not going to play on controller since I don't really like it, so if they add full rebinding I may buy the game, the demo plays well, performance-wise, and I like the visuals. Though some input delay is ridiculous and dodge is unreliable no matter if I set it to "on press" or "on release". Prefer the latter bcs too much ER and DS but it's much less reliable this way.
All in all, I miss those days when challenge of the bosses/enemies wasn't done in a lazy way of "oh let's just give'em random delays, wonky hitboxes and skyrocket hp + infinite resistance". Seems these days every dev desperately wants to make game "hard" without actually giving it a single thought :steamfacepalm:

People that prefer kb+m? Is it a crime or something, who cares how others play aside from devs that SHOULD care and adjust the game accordingly, tf is wrong with this "kb+m bad nuuuuuu" :steamfacepalm:

What an absolutely retarded question. Many people prefer m+kb. It’s a legitimate way to play 3rd person games.

I got only 3 fingers total. Im often force to do custom loadout on my keyboard and mouse if game dont let rebind all keys. So i would make loadout on your keyboard where alt/ctrl/shift is moves where you need them to be.

For noting, you can rebind by deleting the default alternate binding.

eg. E won't rebind until you delete the current bind (use G when selecting the bind you want to delete). It will replace the binding with a red blank, at which point you can use the blocked key in another slot.

Yh it was incredibly frustrating trying to find key bindings that worked without being able to bind some of my mouse buttons. I couldn't even bind the letter O

Me and most pc players. It’s not a secret and very well known that most pc players use mouse and keyboard. A viewpoint doesn’t change what inputs do.

Who even plays third person games with controllers? People who don't have normal fine motor skills and need aim assist?
