I can't remember where it was stated, could have been a reddit Q&A, but i remember hearing the devs saying that it will get much faster as you progress, and that the demo represents only 5% of the whole game
It's the tutorial bosses on easy mode, so even if you play like crap it's still going to be easy; it just won't feel very good.
Moving between perfect parries/counters and perfect dodges/finishers to refund stamina you can attack for the duration of windows without any downtime. If you find yourself standing around like a lump with no stamina frequently then you're playing poorly; which is fine since the demo is easy.
Kena is a good game, even if some of the optional challenges drive me nuts.
Point is that stamina management is part of being good at this game. If you're not defending perfectly you won't have the stamina to attack perfectly. Didn't matter much in the demo but it'll probably matter in harder difficulties against tougher bosses in the release game.
So just like in fighting games, you should spend your resources to do optimal damage.
In this game you'll have a lot more resources for optimal damage if you defend perfectly. So, if you feel like you don't have enough stamina then get better at the game.
ROFLMAO.
The COPE is real.
But I'm with you on this one, wtf? Multiple people didn't read what you said...
No one is saying you're struggling to beat the boss. What we're saying is that if you're having stamina issues it means you're bad at perfect dodging/parrying. Practice and get better.
"All grabs have an obvious tell and a long start up animation, so even at zero stamina, you have enough time to recharge enough stamina to dodge the grabs."
.... what are you doing? What is your argument? You're bringing a critique that doesn't apply, they even confirmed it here.
