Will there be visual customisation in the full game?

The game takes a lot of (surface-level, at least) inspiration from Nioh, so I was hoping there would be an option to change the appearance of our gear, or some minor aspects of the protagonist's appearance like hairstyle, if not unlockable full model swaps like in Nioh. Do we have any confirmation on whether these things are planned?

If you read the store page description, they add cosmetic items in pre-order and deluxe versions of the game. So the mechanic to apply cosmetic look changes is in the game. It is unclear, however, how it will work.
Maybe it will only apply to the deluxe items, maybe they will sell skins in microtransactions, maybe you will be able farm skins from bosses and apply them when you craft your own items. Who knows.

again, how do you know that? Are you assuming again because some other game did it this way?
