Had this game on the radar until I noticed the Denuvo anti-tamper. That's an instant do-not-buy flag for me. The performance impacts of Denuvo anti-tamper are documented - you can look this up for yourself, if you have doubts about it. I am not buying a game to have my experience throttled by the dev's distrust. If anything, this would push me towards a pirated version where Denuvo is no longer present. Is pirating games even that big of a deal any longer?

They want to pirate the game, nothing else.

It prolly has no performance impact (you would have to be cpu bottlenecked), any tests people have done in terms of performance were comparing an older version of the game with denuvo vs a newer version of the game without denuvo, ignoring cpu bottlenecks and any optimization differences between game versions. There are no comparisons where they just compare no denuvo vs denuvo with no other changes to the game.

The only game that I would be interested to see with and without denuvo difference would be Dragon's Dogma 2, but only if they manage to do it by not having no other changes to the game, besides the removal of denuvo.

Guess what clown boy, factoring in the save upload fix, the Dragon's Dogma 2 debug leak runs better than the Denuvo cancer-ridden version on steam with all of it's "performance improvement patches".

if you dont want denuvo in your games then why did you buy MONSTER HUNTER RISE, which not only has denuvo but also capcoms terrible drm which is arguably worse than denuvo

Nope, I don't think cost is the issue. If you're jobless, even a game at steep price is out of reach and piracy might be your only option. Personally, I don't have any problem with anti-cheat/piracy system. Game runs perfectly on my dated 2080s GFX only had 1-2 crashes throughout my entire playthrough.

It's very fortunate then, that someone as discriminatory and biased as you is not a steam moderator. If it were up to me, I would ban the wannabe tyrants who advocate for removing freedoms of other people.
