Playstation 5 controller button prompts

Why won't devs add an option to change button types instead of trying to know what you are using??? It simply wont work

I just connected my PlayStation controller to it and the game assigned all buttons to proper inputs automatically.

I actualy just posted that, this is a DEMO, not the final version.

For control and PS icons over BT, you could use this method a player discovered: disable Steam Input for the game, launch it, then enable Steam Input.

Initially main menu UI will have Xbox icons (but if you check Settings > Controls > Controller Configuration you should see a PS controller), launch gameplay and you'll get PS icons.

Hi, I can change it over Steam, but why, when the game offers the same. Just noting down that they should just add that insted making players do some wierd layouts

Yep, they should just add it as an option. The automatic thing sometimes doesn't work correctly.

And? Why does that change anything? Most games without button type options doesn't have it by release, if ever
