I hope we can choose or it changes , it's a small thing but he looked so much more badass with his hair down.

That ponytail's been his look for over a decade. It makes sense why they went with it since it's iconic. Hide helmet would be nice though I guess.

The game has a lot of decent quality of life features.
But you do have to look in the settings... to find the settings.

To be perfectly honest: Having helm display to be in the accessibility settings is a pretty terrible move. You would not look for a setting to take your helmet off in a section where it's meant to help people with issues ease into the game.

I wanted the hair to be shown not hidden so the helmet idea does nothing. I was wondering why the devs did take away the beastly godlike hair for putting it up in to a mid beta male ponytail.

Because they are selling it back to you. It's a part of the pre order bonus. Go buy it and get the hair
