Will my progress carry over to full release?

At the end of the demo it said that the my progression will carry on, however there was only an option to pick easy and normal, i ofc went with normal, but i assume there will be a hard difficulty once the game release, would i be able to change my save file from normal to hard on release or would i have to start over again?

You weren't at the end of the demo. Yes, but only after you beat the boss of Stormpass.

There's no hard mode. Unless plans change.

I didn't see if there was a way to change difficulty before uninstalling the demo. But if the option exists, it should be in the demo too

wdym i weren't at the end of the demo? i beat the demon inside you at the end of stormpass, then i came to a checkpoint that said " return to title screen"

But i assume there will be a hard mode once the game comes out since normal mode was way too easy to beat

I assumed you only got to the point of the difficulty choice.

Normal mode is how the game is intended to be played. Easy mode is journalist mode. The screen made it clear there was only going to be 2 choices. Again, unless the plans change.

man that is lame... i hope they add a hard mode, the game was hella fun and combat was fluid but it was too easy, last boss wasnt even really a challenge

it was just second boss and even though I died on yeti more it was still a fair challenge, god knows what other beasts there are gonna be

I thought that hard mode will be added on NG+ or something like that... But I felt normal difficulty was fine. Challenging enough. But maybe if you get used to the game it would be too easy.
