First boss problem
Hey, anyone can give me any tips on beiting it? Seems like I put most points at STR and should have into stamina. Dodging mostly doesn't work. I heard on Internet you havet to parry instead of blocking, but I don''t know when the hit connets so I do it too fast or too slow. I get hit mostly below his HP, once I thought I can do it but he grabbed me and jumped on top of me lol

learn how to block, you just block his attack and deal one damage and keep going this until hes dead.
You mean parry? Because he breaks my stamina when I block. But If perfect blocks are required I guess I will have to learn hi attacktimings.

Perfect block don't consume stamina, and you also get visual inquators when you succeed. But a perfect parry doesn't break combos.

I believe parrying uses stamina, and I'm not sure if either perfect blocking prevents stamina depletion or lessens stamina consumption. But, stepping back to know the boss's attack patterns, when to perfect block/dodge, and swiftly attack while he recovers from each and every attack will ensure victory for you.

try to stay close most of a time to him and block his attacks, i`m not sure hot to dodge his throw attack at 2nd stage, but when he charges his breath attack better stay behind him and deal damage. U got this!

Just parry everything, and do a combo before your riposte. Back up after his Gamma Crush, so you can more easily dodge his grab. and just keep beating on him.

This game is literally all about parries. Even if you die, just spend time learning the parry timings, so that you do better on the next attempt. I just dumped all my points into whatever the first stat was.
Thanks a lot!
I just put all the points into willpower for dual wield max dmg.

Parrying is literally useless in this game it only works for certain stuff, while you could've just perfect guarded instead.
Countering is somewhat more useful, when Perfect Guard shouldn't be used.
Perfect Guard is well perfect, you don't take any dmg, you don't lose stamina, and you deal damage back to the enemy.

Perfect guard is what I mean by parrying. You guard at the last moment, and your character does a deflect motion.

if you havent played Sekiro or some parry game, dont bother with this. its too demanding
Don't lock on, run away, and try to bait their 4 part move, where they end up swinging into a daze. when they are dazed, hammer them with 3, or 4 Potent Blows (heavy attack not charged), rinse and repeat. I used the dual weapons with this method, after struggling with being locked on, due to not parrying, and due to their range/hit boxes exceeding my backward dodge.

I rage quit on the first boss. It is too demanding for "normal" players. Attacks are very hard to read and the timing has to be perfect. Watching videos of others beat the bosses, you basically have to play perfect the whole time, hours of perfecting each boss. Even big time streamers who play games for a living can't get through it.

Certainly a skill issue, 100%. But I don't think most players will be sweaty enough to get through this game. :/

I was having fun until I hit the wall though.

Try thinking, it is a rare game where changing your set up, or changing how you play does not give different results. Read my earlier comment for a different method that works easily.
