Albeit I limit it to 120fps when I can use framegen, so game will only render at max 60fps, the rest gets doubled, and if no framegen is in use I limit to 90fps.
If you use vsync/gsync/amdsync/freesync and don't limit your fps below refresh rate, you get 2x screen latency, not to mention tearing.
Also if you use gsync or compatible gsync, it's also best to combine it with vsync for better synchronised frames.
