Just another little unconstructive feedback
I can't say i am as hyped as before playing the demo
The loot rarity was a real cold shower for me. But being used to playing Nioh (best souls-like), i can do with
Three weapons isn't much at all. It greatly lacks variety in their moveset, but at least, their respective skill trees are interesting. Precise increase for passive skills (ex : reduced stamina consumption on dodge) would be perfect.
The feedback and soundesign are good

Items on the ground are barely visible (guess what ? white items on the snow !!!)
What does weight actually do ? I looked into the encyclopedy and didn't find anything on it

I really like this cell shading , it is not the typical manga rendering, it is much more precise. But also i don't understand how the requirements can be this high! It really needs to be optimized. I have to play on medium or low despite my specs being much higher than the recommended. At least, there was no stutter at all

I guess i'll still play, most probably, but it is not my priority anymore

You have some decent points:
- I personally like the loot system (personal prefernce)
- I agree that I was hoping for more main weapon types (at least 5) on launch and for more to be added through DLC like with the Nioh games.
- Not sure I unserstood your point about "Precise increase for passive skills", as the dodge stamina consumption skill in the great sword tree was pretty meaningful.
- Ground items to need a more clearer color at least when in the snow areas
- PC optimization is a beast of its own, but I can't speak of that as my expereince was practically flawless with every maxed out and no DLSS. However the stuttering the cutscenes need to be fixed to not ruin the story telling aspects.

I was very interested in this game when it was revealed, but this demo solidified my purchase as another game like Nioh was exactly what I wanted.

Great write up steamthumbsup:

Thanks! Glad it ran great for you
About "Precise increase for passive skills", i tried (with a rusty english, my bad) to say an written percentage would be great.

Also! i forgot to mention, perhaps i missed it, but i didn't find anything about weight management and what would it change depending on each threshold (if it were to change anything).

Have fun playing!

Oh in that case I agree, more detailed explantion of stats is always good.

Also to touch on weight limits I did happen to get my character in medium weight (its the color green I believe), it makes your dashes shorter, and potentially uses a bit more stamina. So there are indeed weight threshholds similar to DS, Nioh,..etc where if your gear weights too much your will suffer movement penalties.

Hard disagree on the weapons lacking moveset variety, they can all play very differently if you allocate skill points into their more unique aspects. Dual-wielding has plenty of options for rushdown and hit-and-run tactics, the greatsword encourages a more defensive playstyle with things like the ability to parry attacks while you're charging a heavy in order to empower it, and the spear rewards planning ahead with stuff like Moonlight Stance and skills that have bonus effects when used to break poise. They all play like entirely different characters.

Yeah I don't agree that the weapon movesets are shallow by any stretch, but I was expecting more base weapon types then just 3. Still I'm glad the skills and skill nodes look interesting.

I know that my "lack of variety" might sound really harsh, buuuuut Nioh had lots of moveset!
But yes. yes, you are right, those three play very differently and there are some really interesting skills, active, buffs, and we barely saw two of the five (if i recall?) tiers
