Make sure steam input is disabled.
Make sure you don't use third party controller apps.
If you go to steam settings controllers, what controller does it show above there?
Also did you disable controller support for xbox, switch pro and generic, and only have enabled for playstation the default option (if devs listed the game to have proper native support, then it will disable steam input and vice versa)
Can you list me games where you have steam input disabled and you can use bluetooth to play the game? Pcgamingwiki hasn't any listings in that way, it's either it has controller support or not, but doesn't differentiate wired and bluetooth specifics for controller itself, besides the features that controller has via wired or bluetooth.
Also there is no game on pc that supports native dualsense speaker haptic feedback via bluetooth, because speakers are disabled via bluetooth, and also no speaker game features obviously.

"Because haptic feedback is audio-based and requires the controller's audio device to be exposed to the connected PC, it is not supported over Bluetooth. Some games will fall back to regular rumble instead of having no rumble when the controller is connected via Bluetooth."
So there is no point saying what a huge shame, when you never used native haptic feedback.
Though you can use adaptive triggers.

Or a list that shows both.

I use my dualsense only via usb, so I can get to enjoy what dualsense is meant for.
If I would use it via bluetooth, I might as well use any controller.
Are you sad that you can't see button prompts and you don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about speaker haptic feedback and the speakers?
As I'm reverse of that, I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about the button prompts, as long it's either one, I'm okay with it, though nintendo copying xbox and then just rotating it was annoying as F for emulated nintendo games.
Can't remember from the top of my head but there are games that work perfectly fine with DualSense over BT without Steam Input and show the PS button prompts. They can't use the haptics, etc. like that, of course.
I had no idea the haptics use audio to make the effect more believable. Makes sense the game needs to be able to use that as well. I just wonder why it's not supported over BT when it clearly works on PS5. But of course, PS5 has everything custom so they made that work.
What I find shameful about this game is that it ONLY supports DualSense over USB and not BT, even without all the fancy features.
Otherwise I don't mind Xbox prompts at all, I'm used to them. I just like how the DualSense feels in my hands, how the buttons press, etc.
Better would be if they would have a in game setting for people to choose what sort of buttom prompt icons they get. It doesn't really matter if bluetooth is natively or isn't natively supported on pc for dinput, as long as xinput bluetooth is supported.
