Steam Deck Performance is Great!

I’m playing it at an almost perfect, locked 45 with a mix of mid and high settings. Really great to see us SD users will be able to enjoy it.
Gameplay wise I think it’s a really good souls like so far. The impact of combat in particular is fantastic. I played the beta on Xbox and they to have seemed to tighten it up a good amount. I do think they made it a tad easier than the beta. But as long as the pacing is good and the difficulty ramp is steady. This could end up there with other great souls likes ala Lies of P

For some reason, even though the game is in DX12, I have no options for FSR on steam deck. Is this a common issue?

I noticed that too. I guess they disabled the option on Steam Deck for some reason

Adding this Launch Option fixes it:
SteamDeck=0 %command%

You can set the Resolution Scale option to High.
From what I understood it should be enabling XeSS or FSR Quality.
