Here is my experience running into a wall showing FPS drops. You're welcome to go post a video with proof at max settings that you're not experiencing this. It's early in the game, shouldn't be much of an issue.

I'm not going to post a video but I can visually see the lag in your video and I can say with 100% confidence that my gameplay outside of cutscenes was 100% stutter free. I would know because I got the parry down like clock work and if it was stuttering every 5 seconds I would have been frustrated and my reactions would have been thrown off.
Are you on windows 11? IS anything else taking up resourses on your PC while the game is running? I have noticed everyone having issues have like 4000 series cards much newer CPUs then I do.
Ctrl+F11, it's all you have to do to show someone you aren't suttering. Saying you went from 90-140 FPS kind of shows you have FPS loss, but you don't know where it is from, right? You sure it isn't from the spot people are complaining about? The combat? Cause I can walk around the terrain with no issues, loot with no issues, but the moment I swing my weapon (Which recalculates the shadows.) I get FPS drop, which doesn't look like a stutter, but it's a stutter from the original FPS which was locked to 60 moments before.
I have a 4080 super, running max settings on 1440p, with or without DLSS it matters not and on DX12. Yes, I'm on Win 11. It's not like people are making this stuff up you know.
It very well could be a 4000 series thing as I've seen that posted in other topics as well. Nothing else would be eating anything up on my computer and yes it's on Windows 11. This is the only game having this kind of odd behavior. This was using DX11 as well, it runs better than DX12 for sure but these kind of drops happen on weapon contact with enemies as well so the whole game is really immersion breaking in this current form.
No you are completely wrong in your statement regarding my FPS. I simply said my FPS simply fell in the range of 90-144 fps, I never said those drops happened mid gameplay. I have been building/specing my own PCs for 12+ years so I'm not ignorant to stutters, frame pacing issues, frame drops ,all of which are completely different things.
If my FPS was going from 90-144 FPS all the time that would be considered HUGE frame drops and I was not getting any of those. Maybe I should have said the outside more open areas averaged closer to 100FPS while the caves and interior areas usually were capped out at my refresh rate, but at no time during combat did I experience stutters or frame pacing issues.
That's great, you also didn't say where the drops happened, so that is called speculation. You say you aren't having issues, I'm telling you how to show you aren't with a simple two button press. Steam integrated recording videos into your gameplay as long as your steam overlay is on. No extra stress on your hardware, so it isn't like broadcast software etc. You don't want to show a video though, so it's just taking you for your word and given you didn't give full details, it leads to speculation.
Yeah I can say that if you were getting stutter when your weapons hit something I was 100% not experiencing that, or I would be complaining just like you lol.
Just to clarify, because people seem to not understand there are hardware differences and people will experience different out comes when gaming. I never said everyone will have an smooth experience like me, I simply said that my 2 hours of gameplay was stutter free outside of cutscenes and I am a freaking FPS snob who wants to smoothest experience I can possibly get lol.
Respectfully, I'm not going through the trouble of recording and uploading a video of my gameplay just because you said lol.
I'm not sure why you're so on my case because of my gameplay experience. I have nothing to prove to you personally or anyone else on this forum as I'm just giving my 2 cents just like the rest of you.
Take my word for it or don't i don't really care and if you want to think I'm a liar with zero facts or evidence for those claims no one is stopping you. I'm not here to sale or shill the game to people and I benefit NOTHING and NO ONE for lying about my performance to mislead people. The Demo is FREE for a reason so each person can get a taste of the game performance for their hardware and I hope all people can have a smooth experience like I did during my playtime.
If you are familiar with computer hardware at all you would know how variable it is and how even 2 people with the exact same hardware can have relativity different gaming experiences based on many different factors.
So please go beg someone else to "prove" their smooth performance/gameplay experience to you, because I am not lol.
Stutter while fighting is kinda bad and anywhere from 118 to 84fps with DX12
Frame gen off for both
