Change Language of Braid under Linux
I wanted to select a language for Braid under linux, unfortunately I've noticed, that unlike other version of Braid, the Linux (Steam?) version of Braid will start with the launcher, even if I start the Braid binary (Braid.bin.x86 in my case), however the launcher that comes up for me does not support selecting a language. Disabling the launcher does not seem to surpass the launcher either, it is just not displaying the window. The Windows version does not suffer the same issue, though I don't know about the Mac version.

Is there really no way to change the language for this version? I have to swap the english.mo file with the one I want to use just becuase the Linux (Steam?) version of Braid is messed up?

PS.: I think the Steam independet version supports this well, but it have (or had) a different kind of launcher as well?

The game should use the language set by the Steam Settings for the game. If you want to manually specify the language via the command line you should be able to suppress the launcher by passing "-no_launcher" as an argument to running Braid.bin.x86.

Let me know if none of that works for you and I'll see what I can do.

I tried it, and it works. Never would have thought to try such parameter. Thx a lot!
