Is it just me? Excues my grammer.
I'm playing this game and I'm enjoying it however as someone whose played SMT and Persona there is just stuff in this game that I can't help but nit pick at. For one the Persona like stuff is underwhelming. For example why the hell does this game have holidays when none of the npcs actually celebrate in world? Aside from shop discounts like whats the point? You have a society made up of many cultures and with strong religious views, you would think we be out here seeing parades, gift giving or rituals. Another example of my gripes is activities.
Raising your virtues and bonding eats up a whole block of time and only activity thus far that doesn't eat up time is cooking which you have to unlock mind you via bonding. There is like nothing to do to encourage immersion separate from bond/stat raising. Can't even fish with out using time. My MC entered a eating contest and doesn't show you even doing it lol if you played Persona you know what I was looking out for lol. Anyways i think the calendar system isn't well implemented. I'm even playing on hard. Yes traveling eats up days however once you reach the dungeon if you know what you are doing you can beat it within the same day. There is just too much empty time left between dead lines. Another thing this game has you essentially running for president not one time in this game has this game made me to get up on podium to rally my supporters or debate the political candidates. Atlus couldn't cook up some Gen 3 pokemon contest gimmick for this? Anyways I could go on some more but this post is already long winded. :steamfacepalm:

Welcome to Atlus games. If you already played Persona you should be familiar with the time pressure calendar. Basically all Atlus games force you into a resource war. One of those resources in Persona and here in Metaphor is time. And yes this game is more friendlyon the time pressure side. But you will need this time if you actually want to do everything. After finishing bonds, virtues, bounties, sidequest and coliseum I had a total of 5 days that I use for grinding into my royal archtypes (though I did that before I went to do the final 4 sidequests. Retrospective I also would use the time on the gauntlet runner different using the bath more often and fish.
Also little reminder that this game has only 4 ingame month. Persona is usually straight up 9-12 months.

Yeah sorry you misunderstood what I meant. I played SMT 4,4A,SMT 5 V And Persona 3-5 plus the re-releases. I'm familiar with the systems. What I' trying to stress is immersion related. Make the game feel more lived in.
