can't go to the forsaken tower

i got the deed mission and i need to clear the tower for it but the info guy in the tavern doesn't have the Fiend of the Forsaken Tower Information and i cant find anywhere that advises of a prerequisite

You unlock that tower (and the information for it) with another side quest, from a craftsman in Merchant's Bazaar who needs a horn :)

where? i dont seem to have a quest to pick up

On which date are you? I think he only appears after you reach the free time in that city, so, if you haven't reached 7/23 or 7/24, it might be too early :) . He should be next to Strohl in the Merchant's Bazaar, if I remember correctly.

Ah maybe it's too late to do it this chapter then, sometimes NPC are away during certain days :/ and I think it's a 3-day trip to get there anyway. You might have to come back and do it later. If that can help, the name of the quest is "Superior Scrimshaw" :) .
