Is there a way to change difficulty from StoryTeller?

I accidentally put it to Storyteller difficulty to make a farm method I was doing a bit easier but it didn't even tell me that in choosing this difficulty it would PERMANENTLY lock to that.

Which is kind of a bummer I wanted to at least go back to normal after I farmed a bit but can't. Is there any type of file manipulation that I can do to change it back to normal?

the game does tell you when you tried to switch that its permament, you problably just clicked through it.

I might have... I def don't remember seeing it but oh well. Is it possible to change back via file altering?

no idea, i dont do that, but unless you have a backup save file you are stuck
