And why t j.g at dungeon with louis just to talk to him.
It must be my experience with these games, but I had no issues at all with the Dragon Temple, which was designed to be done over a couple of days. I did it in the one day, thanks primarily to figuring out a way to heal MP in every almost every battle. MP management is the key to combat in this game, imho.
Naw, you can just use mage, kill a mon openworld in tower and regain all mp in 2 to 3 clears.
That was the method I used at the start of the game, you gain more efficient methods later on.
The Wizard archetype gives you access to the passive Shield's Blessing, which gives you 10 MP every turn so long as you have a buff, just use a skill that buffs the entire party (there are many), and you can heal MP every turn. I then used the Phantasm Doll (2 turns for one character) to provide even more MP healing for the character that needs it most.
So what you do with this method is take on a weak monster group and just pass turn until all your MP is healed up. It's much faster this way. It also allows the MC to use an archetype that isn't from the Mage lineage for MP healing.
What do you mean pass a turn. Excluding a boss fight. After dungeon in chapter 2, nothing was an actual fight. Every monster on open world died to either my mage circle, giving 1 mp a kill or merchant weapon giving big gold.
So I would run the dungeon fir 5 to 20 minutes depending on mobs in dungeon, kill open world, get mp back as well as exp. Fight boss, move on.
And I played hard mode. Why would I say attack goblins when 1 bomb could cause me to cure after fight for more mp usage then just 1 shot kill open world and get mp?
You get slightly more exp per fight non open world, but I can out exp, m att, and gold farm you per minute just by killing everything without an actual battle.
If you're playing on Hard and you're killing almost everything in 1 hit then you're over-levelled, the game was not designed so you can 1 hit kill everything with a Wizard staff all the time. My method allows me to fully restore MP in a single battle, you just buff the party and pass turns, because every turn will heal at least 10 MP per character with Shield Blessing equipped. It's much more efficient. That way you won't have to run around the map waiting for enemies to respawn to heal MP.
If you have the Paladin's Revitalise 3 equipped, it'll be even more MP per turn.
Being over leveled is not my problem. A player should be able to get all jobs lvl 20 before end of the game.
I am not saying the player should unlock all skills with m attack, that can be done second playthrough. But all jobs including royal should be able to get lvl 20.
This way the player can truly enjoy all classes.
They need to fix the formula for exp. 1/3 exp. 3x m attack. If they did something like that then players maybe wont be over leveled. Oh and when new players join party, they need to be level of protagonist.
Thus again putting a semi roadblock when you get dragon girl, singer and my berserker boy.
If they did my suggestions listed above my combat rating would have gone from 1/10 to 6 or 7 out of 10.
You cant blame the players for the companies bad design choices or formulas used.
And well most gamers will max tine with exp. Not that it's my philosophy per say. But how many games do you see ga mb ers using charts or heat areas for max value for time in game?
And why would I do your method. Passing... what a joke. You must heal after. You get less exp and gold and spend more time in 1 battle then me killing 3 to 8 mobs, vs yourv1 fight.
What a waste of time in fights, and resources gained, your approach is.
For example, if your MP is 0, how long would it take for you to heal back to full with your method? I can do it in one single battle. I used to do it your way and it would take too long, so I stopped.
I still go around killing monsters for exp and loot, I just no longer have to farm weak mobs all over the map to get my MP back to full. Saves a lot of time.
Basically it means I can just complete my objectives in any dungeon without worrying about my MP. It's effectively infinite with this method.
Maybe but you will have to make time up later. You wont gave the exp, m attack or archetypes lvl 20. And at the least have to pkay the game 2x maybe 3 to unlock all.
Who is the sucker if the game makes you waste your time. Again most the issues could be resolved if the formula per battle exp aftermath was changed.
Two equipment from July give your entire party buffs at round start plus aforementioned Shield Blessing = no MP management required.
If you need archtype EXP, there is an accessory that raises archtype experience, plus it's almost as efficient to just keep the same archtype maxed and use the leaves you get from overleveling it on specific ones you want to level.
I agree with that the 1k leaves hence use mage at the crystals or on ogres for m attack and gold.
Regardless it's not just m attack and ghe leaves 1k or 3k roots you can spam
You still are inefficient if you do add ny other way. Because you are given 3 characters lat ed in game that are very low level vs you. They should join the level you are. But hey atlas says no, farm. So j one shot everything ggv in game ir 3 shot ef very boss including louis and the 3 dragons. 5 shot the alter me. All on hard.
The other cost you're not considering is that you have to use the Mage lineage all the time on your MC. I'm glad I figured out that Shield Blessing + buffs was the way to go, that way I could experiment with other archetypes on the MC.
I don't know why you think killing trash mobs is an efficient way to farm XP or MAG when the game is designed specifically against that, i.e you're suppose to fight monsters on your level or higher for the most efficient XP gain, and those monsters you can't one-shot outside of squad battles.
Or players can just stop, you know, over-levelling? The XP balance is fine.
If most players played it your way, they'd get bored of the grind after 2 dungeons, and they'd quit and never play the rest of the game. No thanks.
