4K Resolution Help

Does the game not have 4k resolution in the settings, or am I just being dumb and missing something?

Choose fullscreen under display and then the resolution should be available. :)

most likely not. They have to create a compltelly different interface for 4K. Otherwise everything would be very tiny.

The game on start up will use your Windows display scaling to set the resolution. For example if you are using a 4K display with 150% scaling, when you first start up the game it will be set to 2560x1440. If you switch to fullscreen it will go to the correct 3840x2160 resolution and will stay that way even if you go back to fullscreen. Unfortunately I have seen this behavior with other games as well.

it is the high DPI settings you are using, windows scaling

you will need to do the standard fix which is right click the exe > properties > compatibility > "change high dpi settings" then tick the box "override high dpi blablabla", leave it as "application"

you will learn that many games require this fix, if you ever cant select 4k and can only select 1080p or whatever your high dpi scale divides 4k into, i use 200%

150% will mean the games effected by it can only detect up to 1440p

4k will not make the game any more detailed. You can't create detail that never existed in the first place. IT probably looks just like 1440P. I doubt most people could see a difference.
