RTX HDR working only on fullscreen but not borderless

Has anyone managed to get RTX HDR working in borderless windowed mode?

No unfortunately it only works on Fullscreen for me. I also find that it doesn't look as good as just playing on SDR, at least on my OLED monitor.

As much as I like to play in full screen, the FPS keeps bugging out like I put in on 120 FPS then it will go back to 60, This is not the case in borderless. Yes I am also using OLED, you were right that SDR looks perfectly fine though. Ps5 version doesn't even have supported HDR too.

Yes tried it and it's good and easy to setup. GPU utilization is lower too.

There's a setting in windows 11 under System > Display > Graphics > Default Graphic Settings - Optimizations for windowed games - enable this to make HDR work in borderless windowed games. But in metaphor's case, it does not work that way so I used Special K and it works with borderless.

100% Wrong, a window can output HDR content. Fullscreen has never been a hard requirement for HDR rendering. The Windows HDR calibration tool is not fullscreen. Edge can output HDR youtube videos and it's not fullscreen. Special K can apply HDR tonemapping to a windowed game. Etc...
