First main boss Spoilers
Is anyone else getting one shot by this boss no matter what they try?

Feels like no matter my setup i get absolutely destroyed by his summons?

I haven't got to that boss yet but I pressume it's necromancer dude ?(it was shown in ealier trailers).

Try putting your party members in back low whenever you expect heavy dmg. It helped me a lot in the mines.
Knight's aggro skill works too with this strat, meaning enemies will aggro the Knight despite being it back row. It helped me a lot in the mines.

Depending on what type of minions are summoned you can try 2 brawler setup which is strong against skeletons.

If you defeated the dragon in mines you can use the equipment you got for that on zombies.

Man I'm playing on hard and he's actually brutal. The enraged zombies hit for three quarters of my knight's life, and despite the whole dungeon setting you up to level up priest the zombies trigger that class's weak with their melee so I can't even give my knight a turn to rest.

Speaking of which: in what world is the necromancer boss not weak to light magic?!

He kind of is, since I'm pretty sure he's resistant to every other type of magic.

It's pretty much a DPS check, if you can kill his zombies the turn after he summons them he's a joke.
My party setup was MC Healer, Strohl Warrior with the fire dragon sword and Hulkenberg Brawler with the fire spell inherited from Mage, just focus on killing the zombie with fire/light magic/attack, then after it dies use your remaining turns to attack the boss, if Strohl or Huilkenberg gets the 2 last remaining turns use a synthesis attack for bigger damage.

Ha I didn't think of that. I've actually just beaten him by relentlessly bonking him over the head with two warriors whilst getting lucky with him deciding to melee or cast spells instead of enraging his zombie friends.

beat on hard without really grinding. you need to kill the zombies as they come otherwise they'll start running you over.

my party was seeker with inherited medi and hama, brawler, and warrior. didn't bring healer because the zombies get to move right after being summoned and healers are weak to their attack, plus dark weakness. knight has a lightning weakness so don't bring them either.

every time a zombie came out, i killed it with a hama and brawler/healer synthesis attack for three more half turns. heal up/bonk as they come and you'll get through eventually.

i just used a synthesis single target melee holy attack to shred close to 80% hp of the summon in 1 hit. honestly was really boring once i figured that out cus it was just keep doing the same thing and heal from time to time untill boss died. was really hoping he had a second phase or something
