Audio bug, echo-ey
Does anyone else get what i think is an audio bug, where they are talking but its at like 10% volume and very echo-ey like its in another room? I've mostly had it with Gallica, but sometimes with More and the other party member as well. At first i wasnt sure if it was a bug or a feature, but now im almost 100% sure its a bug.

Same, there's certain points (outside of cutscenes) where the voice acting in smaller scenes is almost completely muffled where the audio is only slightly hearable when there's no music playing.

Just a product of the times. Hopefully it gets fixed relatively soon.

Are you using somekind of headphone's manufacturer's app like Razer's 7.1 Surround Sound ?

From my experience it's seems in-game voiced dialogs aren't played properly if you're using certain audio output device.

In my case switching from razer app's 7.1 Surround Sound to standard, defult audio device in game's audio settings - audio output, helped
This fixed the problem for me.

The issue was present in demo and it's in full release so it might not be fixed as fast :/

Yeah, this did nothing. Theres only one audio setting, and thats my default audio, and i loaded in, talked to More, and there he is talked at 2% volume from the other room again.

There are lots of audio issues from your issue to low volume and equalizers not working for a lot of people

Post here so they can see it

the more people mention audio issues there the better, they gotta fix their game.

This is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ frustrating, because i REALLY want to play more of this game, but this audio bug is making me go crazy. Its just ruining the whole experience

Okay, i have figured out the MAIN source of the problem. It is my razer headset. My friends on discord can hear the person talking FINE, and i even disabled my headphones, and switched to my monitors speakers, and the person speaking is 100% fine. Its something to do with Razer.

I had this problem with FF16. This was also an audio driver issue. I managed to fix it for FF16 by doing the following: Go to your windows settings (for example type settings into your windows search bar) then go to System on the left side, then go to sounds. Click on the arrow behind your output device, e.g. your headset. On the next page if you scroll down, there should be an option which is called "audio improvements" (im not sure what its called in english), if you turn that of it will work just fine. For those who have this problem it will be most likely on "device standart effects"(or whatever its called in english".
