Anyone know how to keep the game running when alt tab'd or clicking on another monitor? it always makes the game "stop" unless I click back on the window. Wanna keep it running during battles/etc while I do other stuff too

This game doesn't have an option when the game loses focus, yet. It just pauses.

Is there no way to override that? It's so annoying lol. All other games mostly can play like that

This didn't work for me, but doing this worked for me.
this was directions from a persona game but worked out for me

Click "Download" on the Special K https://www.special-k.info/
Install Special K, then open it

Go to the Library tab and launch metaphor

Once the game opens, press "Ctrl + Shift + Backspace" to open Special K's in-game Control Panel

Expand the "Window Management" section, then under "Input/Output Behavior --> Background Behavior" enable Continue Rendering
