TDS affects all.
Yeah man, we get it, you don't pay attention or have media literacy. Trumpsters really love ignoring reality.
Mass deportations infamously being the original policy the ♥♥♥♥♥ were pushing before concentration camps. But honestly, no, I dont think he'll do that, but how does that make it any better everything else he does and says that is actually harmful? Inb4 you tell me to spell it all out for you...
Yes, since Trump ran for president every single bad guy in a JRPG is now an allegory for him, even all those older games with the same archetype.
All sarcasm aside, I'm assuming you're a Trump supporter. And whilst I don't care who anyone votes for (especially in the US, I'm not American), it's very telling that you saw a cartoon villain that stages a coup, beheads people in front of a crowd and tries to manipulate the population by pandering to their fears, and then decided it was a Trump reference.... Actually on second thoughts, maybe you're on to something lol
Louis isn’t even remotely in the same ballpark. The guy’s whole schtick is meritocracy—he literally advocates for putting aside tribal origins and bloodlines in favor of skills and capabilities. Meanwhile, Trump’s approach was more about building walls and playing favorites based on where you came from. It’s like comparing a chess player to someone flipping the board because they lost.
And don’t even get me started on Louis’s goal of uniting people by force. Sure, it’s dark and twisted, but it’s not even in the same galaxy as Trump’s brand of populism. If anything, Louis is more like some Machiavellian Frankenstein, stitching together power moves and charisma to keep his enemies guessing.
So yeah, I guess you could say they’re both "charismatic" and "controversial," but by that logic, you could also say Louis is basically every other ambitious villain in a fantasy game. Weak bait, man. Try harder.
He publicly executed someone but you are thinking of Forden. Also the cold war/red scare and a billion other things make that not unique to the most boring man ever to be talked about for over a decade and counting.
I'm not getting into this but the government should hold most of the blame for that, we aren't exactly living in the 1700's anymore so there is no real excuse for poor security. You can't convince me that wasn't political theater, a cunning spectacle that cost lives considering people noped out of living over it.
That was all wasted on me, I was mainly just taking the piss lol
