It just doesn't have straight out romance scene like Persona.
romances should be present in every RPG of the world, it created affects to the player and give him the will to imply in his journey... that's why the Tales of franchise is such terribles evrytimes
exactly, they just give you some affect for characters, you're not just passive over their choices, you decide their fates, worst things of all is when you don't like a character and you just follow the scenario, and it happens to be the love plot...
it's like Tales of Arise, you have the romance that the games impose to you and you just have to deal with it... terrible
imoa Persona without the romances, it's just shin megami tensei, (or persona 1 and 2) it's really the romance system that has granted the success of the Persona franchise, it feels like a regression to be striped of it.
