Regarding transferring demo save to the full game and lacking space

In order for me to install the full game, I need to make some space on my PC. The most efficient way to achieve this would be to simply uninstall the demo since it's so big.

Will my saves stay so I can transfer them to the full game? Or do I need to manually keep my saves, and if I do, will the full game be able to detect them?

If anyone has any experience with this, a help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you are safe to delete the demo. The saves are stored in the cloud.

Indeed, that's a bit lame. But I assume you can just grab them on NG+ which shouldn't take long.
