voice acting sometimes extremly mute
SOmetimes voice acting works fine, then a small dialog pops up and you can barely hear anything and it sounds like its miles away.
Anyone with the same issue?

Was a common complaint with the demo. Sad to see that they did not take the complaints on board and fix this.

I also have this problem and its annoying! I didnt even realize that most of the game is voiced bc i assumed just some things are - i went into multiple cutscenes only figuring out there are in fact voices when i heared a wierd, deep echo (and then saw it matched the dialogue lines perfectly!)
Its like the game plays on 100% but the voicelines sometimes on 20%, coming from the room next door or something

Its incredibly disrupting for the overall experiance and makes me want to stop playing as i feel like i am missing out on content

I don't have this issue but a recommendation, turn down the BGM volume and effect volumes, see if it helps.

I figured out a temporary fix for it until they hopefully fix it.
On your Pc, go into your settings for sound and force mono sound only.

I did that but it sounds like i'm eaves dropping into a hall next door where i only hear echoes of the voices, so its a bad work around

I put my audio on stereo with realtek hd audio manager, that fixed for me (I can hear the voices but overall it stills sounds quiet), it was so bad that I completed the prologue thinking it didn't have voice acting.

playing the demo right now and I can barely hear anything... it's so muted/muffled... turning up the vol doesn't help either (it's like the recording mic gain was set too low or something). loudness equalization didn't help.

going to pass the game for now. too bad.. I like how the game plays.

Indeed. The lack of anti aliaising and graphical features for a modern PC title is also a letdown considering the asking price of the base game is $78 USD for us Aussies.
I'm late to the party, but I was also having this problem and setting mono sound fixed it. Just deactivating spatial sounds didn't work.
