I always try to go for pure stat focus in these types of games, so trying to major in just one attack stat might not be a bad idea.
We also know that luck doesn't really contribute much (from what we've seen in the demo) so maybe just a fine 60-20-20 ratio would be a good idea (60%main attack stat, 20 supporting stat, 20 whatever else) just to make sure that your primary focus is your damage.
Unless you want to play a support class of course, since you can't control the stat distribution of your party.
Then I was praised for knowing how to read and that made me happy. So i'm going to go with that because I can't possibly imaging how having one more point in endurance over any other stat could possibly matter in the long run.

I have heard that by endgame, Str is probably the better build, but I'm going Mag for my first playthrough because I just like magic.
his base stats depend on what you answered during recruitment.
and when i saw that i had Protag-Passive ability as a mage that allowed me to regenerate MP upon quick-defeat of enemies out of combat, i immediatly knew i made the right choice.
No more problems with not having enough MP in a dungeon once you have blue-difficult enemies to slaughter is just great, even thought it might take a bit.
I'm gonna play for fun, after all skill damage can increase by high ATK weapons
any build works and is possible with enough planning and investment though. but strength definitely is very strong late game
