The Shangrila build I see. I have also been dumping EVERYTHING into luck.
Hmmm....decision.
I've been pumping Mag though. Like 90% of my stats went to Mag with a few in En for survivability. You get random stats as well as ones you assign so it's not like your other stats will be basement level for the whole game, but I feel it's better to specialise and the damage difference is noticeable.
Multitarget synthesis spells are cheap and have been melting regular enemies, and if all the dang earlygame bosses weren't resistant to Fire they would get annihilated by Meteophor lol.
for these games, if you're looking to be optimal, you generally want to focus on one of the two attack stats (str/mag) and sprinkle in some end and agi. 3-1-1, 2-1-1, 2-1-2, whatever feels right. that's because these games heavily reward alpha strikes over long grinding battles simply due to resource management while dungeon crawling.
luck is a fine stat, but it solely affecting RNG means that it's a lot less consistent. i've also heard that there's a class with a passive that buffs item drops, which probably makes luck even less of a priority than usual.
generally, magic is better early-mid due to weakness access, but strength is better in the end game because of access to multihits and crit passives.
Love that reference
