NG+, is really worth it?
I just finished my blind run on Hard mode (170 hours of gameplay, characters around level 75, all Royal Archetypes learned and maxed out, all character bonds at max level), and I was wondering: is it really worth going into New Game Plus?

From what I’ve seen, your characters and their bonds all reset to level 1. Yes, you keep your Archetypes at the level you finished the game with, along with all your items and endgame equipment... but honestly, I was expecting to be able to rush through and reach the endgame quickly to take on the Brilehaven Arena (which I completely skipped in my blind run) and the Redscale Apocalypse Dragon, which is exclusive to NG+.

But if I have to start back at level 1, getting to the endgame will still take dozens of hours, and I’m not sure if it’s worth spending so much time just for the superboss and the arena... I don’t have a lot of time for gaming, and there are many other games I want to play, so it feels like too much of an investment for a game I’ve already finished. What do you guys think? Are these challenges worth taking on?

I think of the NG+ stuff (some Personas do similar) as being bonuses for people who do NG+, not a reason to do it in and of themselves. Assuming you keep your equipment, you will be able to rush through most of the game pretty easily to get to the higher level areas for more xp, so it shouldn't be *that* much of a grind, but if you don't have any reason other than the special fight, I don't think it would be worth dong. You can always leave it for some years and if you feel like replaying the game as some point, you can do that stuff then.

hmm if there is a "Golden" edition as Atlus is so fond of doing allowing us to play it with NG+ might be nice.
I do the reason being the virtue mechanics are designed to slow your progress meaning you will miss some cool stuff by the end though if you managed to get everything first try wow thats badass also things that increase your virtues are entertaining. If you play the persona games and metaphor for combat alone you'll be sorely dissapointed as the value of the games are in its story telling the combat is there to enhance everything kinda of like whipped cream.
