i heard someone say the same thing
i liked some concepts of the game, i hope it gets better indeed, the combat itself is cool
Why does a metaphor have to be subtle? You probably learned what a metaphor was with very direct and obvious examples; "she is a ray of sunshine in my life; and the like. Nothing about the term implies it can't be obvious what the metaphor is.
Open confrontation is likely to cause several injuries and deaths, especially with an Igniter in the mix; compliance is the most likely way to result in the least harm. The only reason the civilian died was because he freaked out, if they had all remained calm everyone would have lived, and she could always work on hunting them down when there wasn't innocent civilians at stake. Only once the killing started did it become likely for more to follow, and she had reason to kill them rather than just arrest them (which would have been difficult to do alone).
i even jokingly thought there'd be a "beach" episode... then i hit the "beach islands" 2/3rds in, where the episode would be in an average anime season.
so yeah, it's cool that they pulled it off, but it also means it's not what the op is probably looking for in a game.
Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest isn't weaboo bs, it's more palatable for westerners
i regret buying Tales games, the only Tales game that isn't weaboo is Phantasia in the SNES
it's been a long time, whatever it was.
basically an extreme and weird anime fan, not like a normal anime fan that watches good stuff like Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist and other more "normal" anime media
weaboo is basically anything related to those generic animes with lolis, and cute girls, and bla bla bla you know like that one anime with the blonde girl and the guy that makes clothes for her, or any generic school anime with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ storytelling for teenagers and weird adults
i'm trying to think a better example with names but usually the names of those things are so generic that it's easier to remember some elements of it instead of the name of the thing
it's usually stuff called "The Time i Did Something in Somewhere With Someone", i'm not kidding there's stuff called literal this but change the somethings for other names, there's also other things with even longer titles lol
but yeah the word weaboo itself is mostly used to refer to people that like this kind of stuff, but you can use it to describe the stuff itself too
anyway search weaboo on google images and see for yourself
