I just finished the game
I'm curious how you guys feel.
I enjoyed this game a lot. I loved the plot twist with More/MC. The gameplay was really fun, the grinding took a long time compared to the other Persona games like an example but i got used to it in the end.
It was fun travelling around the world and i really enjoyed encountering these beautiful places where you could give postcard to Maria from it.

My favorite characters was probably Eupha, Heismay, Stohl and Fidelio.
While my favorite social link was Alonzo and Brigitta.

I thought Louis was a cool villain and it was nice that it turned out he was actually an Eldan. I liked how it didn't automatically turn him into a sympathic villain but he was evil through and through.

What i didn't like: It sort of rubbed me the wrong way how the MC was suddenly treated like the Prince especially by Hulkenberg. I know he was sort of born out of the prince's dreams of a better world but i wish he was treated like an indivual in the end.
The ending was nice but it felt a bit too... Clishe with them all being together and travel around the world without a care in the end.

I wish more of the ending scenes were voice acted so it had somewhat of a greater impact.
I hope for their next game they do that, or at least add more voice effects to certain lines like they did in Persona with oh huh yeah, or something like that. Just to make it feel more alive.
Anyways really fun even if the last boss fight made me want to scream.

My favorite parts in the game are Rhella, More and Agrica (the First King's Fairy)
For obvious reason: their fight and their moments are memorable.

Louis despite all the build up, he turns out to be another grieving kid with a button to the nuka-cola (or the equivalent of it)

And I really like the edning, no bittersweet, restricting yourself to the throne. The team realized the best they could do after one year is tackle trouble heads on like they did in the past. And the wayt they realized they are only one teleport away from the capital helps.

I found the game to be massively overrated.
A lot of stuff was really annoying, especially all those repeating animations.
The translation was so incredebly garbage, after a while I head to skip side conversations, since I couldn't bear it anymore.
And the game locks pretty bad outside of cutscenes.

Agreed the animation was pretty bad here compared to some of the other Atlus games, especially Hulkenberg looked really off in 3D and i was not fond of the 2D cutscenes either since the inner corner of the eyes for some of the characters especially main character looked pretty bad.
I loved the sprites however so i kept my focus on that, it was done really well.

I don't know if i would say it's overrated. It definitely has some flaws but the good really outweights the bad.

I skipped most of the side conversations too though.

As much as i hate how challenging Rhella's fight was it was so satifying when i was done with it. Definitely memorable.
Very emotional too, but at least Basilio and Juani can be there for each other.
