Target audience is maybe 20 year olds.
Game is ok, has some high points but overall pretty average JRPG, especially the second half. Can't answer whether it is worth it. Are you a JRPG fan?
You can literaly download the demo, try it and make your own opinion...
Why asking if it's worthy ? Ppl will say yes it is or no it is not, just a matter of personal taste.
You will maybe like it when ppl hate it. Don't listen to ppl gosh.
There is time management but it's not really hard.
You can farm level.
And no, there will be no patches as you think : it will not have balance patch or whatever. The game is done and nothing more will be added. If patches, it mostly fixes crashes and non intended behaviors.
DLC are useless, it's cosmetics, nothing important.
I would say the target age is late teen to adult. There are some very mature themes and moments that require a more adult perspective.
You can absolutely grind to your hearts content, and SHOULD grind at least a little. Some fights are EXTREMELY unforgiving, even on normal difficulty, which is where I play. Just stay in the dungeon to grind so you don't lose a day. You can use Mage to regen mana if you absolutely need it.
