Like classic jrpgs like final fantasy 8 one my favs all time

Don’t really play new jrpgs, like completely missed out persona games, think, and this is a stretch but the last ones would be digimon detective game and dq11. Enjoyed, never finished either tho. I won’t insult the genre by including ff16, that’s an Arpg; and that’s fine.

Don’t care if graphics aren’t the next Crysis either or it’s grindy. I’m an elite dangerous and Diablo player lol, I’ll grind if I enjoy the game right.

So ya, I guess, try to convince or just give honest opinion. I’m curious, does seem like a neat game. Oh and money not concern, just trying cut back amount I buy these days.

The best advice I can give you is to download the demo, try it out, and then make your own decision.

Most likely yes.

You can grind yes, but if the enemy is too low level you simply instakill them and gain xp/money.
Story is very good, but don't expect new, ground breaking plottwists, but it is very entertaining, at least until now, didn't beat the game yet and I think I'm past halfway.
Gameplay is smooth sailing from the first hour, Archetypes are great.

But as the dude above said, go to the demo and try it out, I find it VERY comfy.

I agree with this. It's not everyday that you get a free demo, so I'd say it's worth it to try. Plus all of your progress in the demo gets rolled into the main game if you decide to buy it, whicj is very convenient.

The demo is about 5 hours if you take your time and get a feel for it. It's very good at giving you what you'll be looking at for most of the playtime.
