Game won't display in Full Screen

My game is stuck in either window or borderless for the display settings. Anytime I try to change it to full screen I get the prompt asking if I want to keep these changes, click yes, but then it doesn't change. No mater what I try it just refuses to stay in full screen. It wouldn't be the biggest problem, but the window and borderless settings are cutting off portions of the screen so I can't see certain parts.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? If so were you able to fix it somehow?

I thought I was crazy, but it's happening to me too. Do you have your laptop plugged into a 4k TV, per chance?
