You should be able to just copy the save over, though you will have to find out where both the Xbox app and the steam version save it. Probably best to download Steam version of demo too.
Alright. Well, I know they said not every game would be in order to help out with mods but I guess it does make sense most of them would be.
The saves shouldn't be part of the game files though right? Why encrypt it? Microsoft is so awkward...
I don't know how to do that. But, I would say if you skip each cutscene, and dialog and power through the fights, even autobattling, you could probably very easily beat the demo again in 1 hour a less. The majority of it is just- the characters talking a lot. You'll be surprised how fast it goes with skipping. That would be easier and less time consuming that finding out how transfer the save, I think.
