How you feel about "No romance" in this game?

I like having romance options like in Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect or Baldur's Gate 3. I'm a fan of Atlus but I have mixed feelings for ReFantazio not having romance options.

It's fine to want them but they are always so shallow and pointless that I would never really miss them.

It is not necessary. I understand that it's a thing in Persona, but it doesn't have to be in every game.

I feel Atlus would have already improve romance by now. But I get it, in the past it felt bland. A flat tired not worth to repair.

Don't get me wrong, Re-Fantazio has good positive things. No school.

They could've added it but I don't really mind, after all you're playing as a character from a discriminated race and trying to get elected as king. Also every character teasing each other about them being in love with MC starts to become a little boring for me after playing the persona games.

The older I get the less I care about romances in games.
Actually it's already uncomfortable to me. Especially in Persona (school setting).

I like the fact it's not in a school. Thank god for that, this was the only reason I would play this game. Glad they decided to try a different setting.

it does suck since the whole point of the game is becoming a king and the plot revolves around a heirless king so here we are repeating the cycle lol. What's a king without a queen and Altus making some of their best female characters and you cant even romancing them is a big L. There should have at least been a cannon romance.
