Remove Denuvo
No interest in buying this game (or even wishlisting it for that matter) until Denuvo is removed.

I'll also assume some of the technical problems people are complaining about may also be attributed to poor implementation of Denuvo (or perhaps just Denuvo itself) as has been the case repeatedly in the past with other games (that other developers have acknowledged).

Denuvo's literally beaten them. Keep up, why do you think they're so mad? There's one person on the planet currently capable of cracking Denuvo and she doesn't do it anymore unless its a game she wants to play and Empress hates JRPGs.

Persona 3 Reload still hasn't been cracked. the wars over, Denuvo won lol

Edit: After checking Persona 4 Royal still hasn't even been cracked and that released on PC nearly 3 years ago.
You're years behind the new ways to pirate games. Denuvo offline activation sites are all the rage now. No cracking required. They have all the latest games on release day, Wukong, FC2025, FFXVI... Denuvo isn't relevant anymore.

Meanwhile, new games without strong anti-piracy protections still dominate the video game market...(Source[imgur.com]) BG3, Palworld, Balatro, Satisfactory, DB Sparking Zero with 3 million copies sold the first day without DRM... Denuvo has been used 45% less than in 2023 (20 as opposed to 36 - games last year - Source[www.pcgamingwiki.com]) despite more games released than ever
- Even EA is releasing their major title Dragon Age Veilguard WITHOUT ANY DRM (Source[www.gamesradar.com]).

I think the industry will be just fine without Denuvo.

This game costs huge money in many places without regional prices. It's a single player and new brand.
Chances that many people will download it for free instead of buying are really high.

I hate Denuvo too, but in this particular case it's reasonable for sure.

this hasn't stopped since StarForce, which was actually a threat to your PC - unlike Denuvo.

Smearing people as thieves because they don't want malware that has no benefit to the consumer attached to their game is the go to tactic for trolls and corporate bootlickers.

I have something like 400+ games on Steam and software on my PC that costs more than the rent on your basement apartment that I need to use daily so I have no interest in having PC issues because I download cracked software.

Further your smear propagates the myth that piracy equates to lost sales. There is no reason to believe so. Most piracy happens outside the US in 3rd world countries that can't afford $60 or $70 games thus they look for alternatives.

Denuvo is not harmless as has been proven time and again. Below is a video the highly respected Digital Foundry put out for Resident Evil Village.

Resident Evil Village PC DRM: Cracked Code Really Does Run Better - Confirmed

There's also the director of Tekken that has openly blamed Denuvo for poor PC performance:

Tekken 7 Director Says Denuvo DRM Is Causing Performance Issues In The Game[wccftech.com]

There's just example after example of this. The only people propagating the notion that there's no risk of Denuvo harming PC performance are the corporations themselves or their obedient and docile fanboys.

Thanks for proving further it doesn't harm your PC.

Having the game run at a worse frame rate with denuvo on vs off != harming your PC

Don't try to re-frame the issue.

What part of Denuvo having no benefit to the consumer and harming performance of the product they bought is difficult for you to understand?

Don't care, already put 8h in the demo and got the game.

Waiting for the release hyped AF.

I wouldn't buy a game with Denuvo for the same reason I wouldn't install a cracked game.

There's no reason to trust it.

Don't really care myself. Most people who complain about Denuvo don't know jack when it doesn't even affect them. The fact that it's known to cause little / some performance degradation gives these people more fuel to complain. lol

I'll be enjoying the game on release. Can't wait.

I don't know about performance but the fact that you have to check online to their servers (by starting the game online once) ever so often (2 weeks I believe) is a reason I don't like Denuvo. If you use a handheld PC like the Steam Deck, there may be a time where you travel out but forget to start the game once. Denuvo then locks you out. Sure, you can always do it through various means, but it's aggravating as hell. Denuvo has also reportedly had server issues that locked many players out of games.

Denuvo just sucks.
Only issue with all of this is the boost in use of shared accounts and keys which if I remember correctly hurts the devs more than if you pirated the game, so you will be buying a stolen copy for a very low price while the company is paying for a drm, is like trying to put gates to a massive open field.

It's a 70 euros game, not so many players can afford the price, they would simply crack the game if they could. WIth Denuvo, if you can't afford the game at day 1 you can still wait for the next steam discount. I mean, every1 is happy that way. Denuvo valorizes and protect both the taxes of a product and the work of the devs.

clearly you dont hate denuvo if you are damage controlling for it in the steam forums. I dont pirate games but i hate denuvo because of its impact on performance. It needs to go. Also not buying a 70 dollar game because that nonsense needs to go as well. Ill get this on discount.
