Patch seems to have massively fixed performance.
Reloaded a few saves in a few different problem areas. The desert at the beginning performed the worst by far during my initial playthrough, now it runs at an absolutely perfectly locked 120 FPS.

Loaded up some other areas, same dealio.

Still some minor annoyances if you alt-tab (like the menus will go from running at your target FPS to capping at 60 for some reason) but as for actual game performance? It runs like it should now, given the game's limited technical chops.

this is with the update that JUST came out yes? will have to check myself soon. know of any other fixes other than performance?

Can confirm!! MASSIVE boost to performance. as a matter of fact, most of the trouble spots are completely fixed! Amazing!

The game urgently needs an AA technique. The game in 4k with 150% scale has a lot of aliasing

yep just tested myself, game feels a lot better performance wise

It's performing a lot better, but fullscreen vysnc isn't working for me and quitting the game causes freezing. I have to force quit.

First desert area for me was 150 fps pre patch - now 170
Second desert area was 90fps - now 110.

Definitly a good improvement!

Turn off "Camera Shake" in System Settings.

While it really should be an option in the settings menu, if you go into nvidia control panel (or AMD equivalent), select the settings for this game, you can manually turn on anti-aliasing there and it will work.
