this fixes it
Hopefully Atlus will patch the main game on release and it won't be this way.

it doesn't its still an absolute resource hog.

1600p Ultrawide + 150% scaling so not everything is aliased to insanity, 780w gpu profile on 7900xtx, seeing almost 700w usage in some scenes and only getting between 80-144fps.

Alot of areas are extremely unoptimized.

With 7950x3d, i agree and the threading performance is abysmal and this does help for that, so its something that should be added in natively 100%.

SpecialK mitigates a good amount of the issues but there's still unreasonable performance drops in the game that their development team has (won't?) to fix.

yeah its a great fix for cpu bottlenecks, for my the DXVK doesn't really do much still.

The fix doens't seem super compatible with 7950x3d tho, and doens't let me bind the game to x3d cores like normal

I did the fix where I go into settings ---> graphics, pick the game and choose my graphics card for it. Worked great.

I wanted to buy this on PC since I got a very good laptop and a steam deck but now I'm not so sure it will run smooth on SD like SMT V does(while looking better),

I would just wait to see if any of their patches (or community mods) fix the performance issues before buying. Better than being stuck with a game with sub-optimal performance that you can't refund.

It's like trying to brute force a stubborn to emulate PS3 game.
