why is he so fast...?

i'm the type that's usually trying to sprint everywhere in games lol but this blue lad is too fast even for me!! is it just me or are the controls in the field a little bit janky, in part because of his speed and in part due to lag (i can see i'm far from the only one who's got complaints about the lack of optimization) which i'm not loving.... it's a bit dizzying to me... lmk if i'm not the only one...
the visuals are gorgeous even if occasionally a bit busy (which i enjoy but can see how it could get a bit tiring) though i wish the 3d models were even half as good as the illustrations or ui lol i'd just get to enjoy them more if i wasn't too busy getting halfway motion sick and/or annoyed at my inability to speak to the right npc because the pcs going too quick at just the default speed

If you are not half way middle aging, its a bit strange, in my twenty's i had no problem in playing anything spining the background everywhere..................today depending on the background movement, i could get a little bit nauseated.
