How hard is this game on the cpu?
Hello,
I would like to know how hard this game hammer the cpu in comparison to other games if possible. I heard that only one core is used or something, is it true?

The game looks very promising but i'm afraid about cpu issues.
thanks.

Well, it only uses one thread. So with an 8 core cpu that has ht/smt you have 15 threads just standing by, whilst one is trying to feed the gpu with information. This leads to utterly abyssmal performance, even though the game looks like something from the xbox 360 era...

Maybe the will fix it, maybe not, who knows.

Just get the demo and try it for yourself, it's free after all

Depending on what's your CPU, the game is pretty lightweight, my 1080ti and i7 7700k doesn't go above respectively 55% and 45% on 100% rendering 1080p monitor.

thanks.
Is the fact that only one core is hammered dangerous for the cpu? I have an i5 11400.

It's not dangerous, it's just very ineffecient and limits performance scaling.
You could hammer all cores 24/7 and literally NOTHING would happen to your CPU.

It's does some bad processing on the CPU, resulting in low utilization (which results in low FPS) in some areas. It's the same problem with P5R, but it's more apparent now because this game is more demanding.
