Soooo, I killed the dragon and got myself a pretty awesome sword that I gave to Grius...that died unceremoniously. The sword is not in my inventory of course...did I just lost my Dragon unique Weapon before even having the time to try it?

Equipment is based around Archetypes, not party members. You still get your equipment back.

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one. I spent a good while trying to get that sword and was going to be salty if I lossed it for good. Glad to see we get it back

Grius after fihgt with Dragon not in party and not Archetype user, and therefore it is logical to assume that the equipment may not be returned, which is complicated by the fact that it is not returned for a long time.

Just to be clear, not only do you get the gear back, you even get the MAG you spent on unlocking archetypes for him, so no need to worry about anything :)
