So this is Fantasy Persona?

Not gonna lie. So far playing the demo, is feels a lot like a persona game.

More so with the systems, and combat and how you grow your character.
Not saying its a bad thing, just seems interesting how similar it is.

This is more like Digital Devil Saga with a calendar than Persona. Emulate it and you'll see the similarities with DDS and the differences from Persona.

Sort of. It's very reminiscent but still sets itself apart. It's not a reskin by any means, but if you like persona you'll like it.

Even though it doesn't feel like a Persona game to me, there are a lot of similarities between them. The setting is of course completely different, but the controls, combat system and NPC interactions in particular are very reminiscent of recent entries in the Persona series. By the time you enter the first save room in a dungeon, at the latest, you will experience a déjà vu if you have played Persona 5 before.

tbh? I am 9 hours into the demo, about to finish it, and I really can't wait for the full release.
I got rather addicted and interested in the lore and story so far.

It seems like a lot of Atlus games put together in a very unique way, I like it a lot.
I wasn't sure if I will get it but after the demo I decided to preorder it

Yea! the safe rooms in dungeons were like a "OH! Like in PErsona 5!" I didn't feel it was weird, but this game feels like all the good things about their other games put into this one game set in a unique and interesting setting.

It clearly has elements from persona, but its cribbing from the old Raidou games and mainline SMT titles as well. It's a sort of mix of different Atlus RPG titles.
