Am interested in story but optimization is lacking especially for 2024
I wanna say i hope this isn't the final graphics setup but with it being only 2 weeks out... i don't have high hopes that suddenly native AA methods, upscaling, FSR/DLSS or any of these technologies will be added.

kinda to be expected with Altus games but comon its 2024, these are not hard technologies to implement.

_____

Only hope now is for good reshade injection to get AA without having to run absolutely insane 200% upscaling to get less jaggies, thats completely forgetting about how unoptimized cities etc are where top end cpu's are only seeing 70-80fps

Yeah the AA issue is baffling, the modern Persona games look great and I assume it's the same engine for this game??

I'm confused as to what everyone's issues are. I'm getting a constant 120+ FPS with no issues, all smooth, at max settings. I'm on a powerful rig true but the game doesn't look like it would be hard to run. FSR/DLSS are handicaps and you shouldn't need them to run the game smoothly.

And I have a 5800x cpu and am getting 120 FPS in cities. Not the near 144 I get elsewhere but still, I don't consider than top end anymore and I'm getting way more than 80 FPS.

You may not be putting your camera in worse case scenarios. Where maximizing what can see in scene.

The first open world scene was one such example.

5800x isn't gonna go so slow that it's jarring but I'm fairly certain it's going around 60 fps or so in the bad areas.

Double check in first city with all carriages and first big open area.

These are areas where people are starting to have issues. Specially on older processers down to sub 30 even.

I'm on an ultrawide with no fix yet so RivaTuna fits perfectly in the black bar. I have it up all the time with full stats on.

I was 120 in that first opening area where you avoid all the monsters and rush to the recruitment center.

Try the DVK fix, I hear that fixes it for a ton of people too and explodes their FPS.

And don't forget that's just the nature of PC gaming, I guess. Some people have issues, others don't, usually the actual test is how widespread it is ala Dishonored 2 and Arkham Knight, the latter of which they even started giving refunds lol.

What optimization? This game runs on one thread and very inefficently so. Depending on which cardinal direction I am looking in any given area, GPU utilization ranges from 40% to 60% and FPS is a measly 100 ish with 150% scaling. The later is necessary, because the game has no AA, so you have to super sample and even then it still looks like a switch game.

ISTG Crysis 1 runs better on a 2007 computer than this does on a modern machine, all the while Crysis still looks better!
