And while the canon shot was a bit weird, that was about the only oddity with it that I had a problem with and even then I overlooked it almost immediately because of everything else going on.
I'm more excited about the full release than I was before playing the prologue tbh, because I'm fiending for more of it - the game's weird and I love it. It might honestly top out as my favorite Atlus game if it holds up the rest of the way through.
As a Persona fan, intros have always been key parts for me, and the build up to certain revelations has been clearly lacking in this game.
as for why louis wasn't punished for active terrorism, that's less clear. my thinking is that there needs to be a direct attempt for assassination on a contender for there to be an intervention, just because that's the only time an intervention was triggered. the cannon shot caused a lot of deaths by collateral, but nobody was actively hit by the cannon shot. it's probably the same deal with the necromancer raising skellies. he didn't do it by hand, so it didn't trigger a response.
that said, i'm curious as to how the game's going to handle that particular rule. it has the potential to get really dumb, or be an interesting limitation that the characters have to work around.
This feels like a hashino vanity project
"Why is <insert politician name> not in jail?"
Watch Metaphor Daily Journal videos #44-49, and you will see the whole 'election magic' thing is just a swipe at the western election / democracy 'system' (read: 'game').
Let's see how it goes.
An intriguing political story, but I don't want to spoil myself too much.
Enough with the fake guns in modern Persona (remember Persona 1+2 have real guns, yep, they were packing real guns in school).
What do you need to see blood for? its about the tactics and overall problem solving in a game. You must be very immature to need this in your game and haven't lived long enough to experience enough real violence. Well joint the military and get into real combat or face someone like me in a real boxing match and see your own blood and well see how much fun it is. In persona I guess you don't understand that it was intended to be metaphoric and referencing to ones inner beginning and self discovery, inner conflicts facing one's own demons. As for guns in class. Read the news the real news{not infowars) about what's happening with that. It's not cool not at all unless you're so immature that you think its like a video and you don't have to take responsibility for real actions.
The whole fake guns in post-Persona 2 Personae are ridiculous LMAO.
Glad this game people are soldiers and fight with real weapons, and the monsters really look disturbing.
