for people like us with slow internet and daily quota for the data, seeing a demo that needs as much as a full game to install is a joke.
i am sure they didn't want to bother making a demo, so they just let u download the whole game and play a small chunk of it.

I'm sorry for your situation, but are game developers supposed to suddenly have two types of demos for folks with slow/capped connections? Just watch someone play it on YouTube for a bit to get a sense for it instead?

No, they are supposed to be reasonable with demo sizes. Even Final Fantasy XVI's demo was not that big by a long shot even though the full game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ massive

man, u had me at the first half. No, they don't need 2 demos, they need a reasonably sized demo, it is a demo after all, if the full game is 90gb, why should a prologye take 60gb? that is like2/3rd the game.
anw, thank u for the kind words, i really don't get why a small demo should be bigger than most AAA games these days.

Dragon Quest XI's demo was about 8-10 hours if I recall correctly and it was only about 1/3rd of the full game's size

It's about 4-5 hours long. Maybe longer if you play on the hardest difficulty.

been playing the demo for 5.4 hours and still not done just yet, so I'd say it's worth it. Not to mention the saves are compatible with the full game, so if your gonna buy the game anyway it's a no brainer.
