sounds like the actors arent a good fit for the characters they are portraying

I dunno man, that English voice actor for the main character popped off at the "AWAKEN" part. I'll still probably be using Japanese voice acting myself because that's what I usually prefer, but the English voice acting sounded pretty good to me.

I feel that the Japanese voices have that effect here too.

It's just something with how the game is animated. It's creating some uncanny valley.

Imo...

Although it pales in comparison to jp dub when it comes to delivery of more emotional lines

JP dub have better spoken lines delivery in more emotional scenes
while
ENG dub doesn't require you to read as much

Just pick whichever you like more for whatever reason and enjoy the game

I never go with English dubs, but even I kind of think it sounds good here. I think maybe the British accents might through some people off, though, but I think compared to American voice actors, British actors can be a bit better at times.

I always do first run on Japanese and second run on English so it doesn't get repetitive
