Yoko Taro is a businessman, not a developer. He has said countless times he designs things for profit and isn't ashamed that he does things primarily for money, like for example, making 2B extra thicc as to make her marketable (figures, cosplayers, other things ect).

By this point in the year 2024 everyone (even the tourists) should know Atlus doesn't make the best business decisions but makes decent games (yes I am implying Nier/Draken are bad games).

It skips the intro videos, removes the confirmation box when quitting the game, adjusts gameplay FOV, disables camera shake, removes the fps cap in menus, fixes the 8-way analog movement, disables dashing blur/speed lines, adds ultrawide monitor support, etc.
